Pacific Influence is the small art gallery for three Kiwis from Auckland, New Zealand: Cath Yong, Dave Wilson, and Sharon Wilson. If you enjoy our art gallery, please refer your friends to have a look as well !!
| We are mostly self-taught in our art and
just like to experiment a lot to develop our ideas. Cath's focus is bold
charcoal and acrylics on canvas, Sharon - on design and photopraphy, and
I focus on realist paintings - mainly using acrylic on canvas. Our crazy
paintings are influenced by, and are unique through - our New Zealand upbringing - our respective part Chinese and Samoan origins - and our love of biological sciences that led us both to graduate in this field! We paint or make them to capture a mood or a moment in time, and because squirrels, chickens, and dogs are highly strung, crazy brained sorts and worthy of painting. |
UPDATE: Now we've also gone and made some damn squirrel based punk-blues music!
So there probably wont be any more paintings being posted here for a little while (the NEWS page will keep going though;).
